we are looking to recruit part time support workers to work either in the mornings from 7:30am – 2:30pm or evenings from 4:00pm – 9:30pm within our domiciliary support services. The role of a Domiciliary Support Worker entails working with individuals in their own homes and providing some companionship and personal care support if required.
Support could be anything from taking clients out in the community for a set number of hours, assisting them to return to doing things for themselves following hospitalisation, assistance to maintain their homes in a safe manner and assistance with nutrition and meal preparation.
You will be given the opportunity to shadow other support staff and see what they do and how they carry out tasks.
You will also have the flexibility of using one of the company pool cars if your car is out of use.
We conduct full DBS checks. We pay mileage including bonuses for employee of the month. We will pay above the national minimum wage for your age and no experience is required as full induction and training will be provided.
You will be COVID-19 tested prior to starting and given full PPE for Domiciliary work. Depending on how many hours you are looking to do, we have hours starting from 15 to 30hrs, with a view to gradually increase if you wish, based on whether you are prepared to work flexibly.
