Inventory Analyst – Barminco – Western Australia

About the role
Barminco has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Inventory Analyst to join our Supply Team based at our head office in Hazelmere, Perth. Reporting to the Group Manager Supply Chain, you will be responsible for managing the inventory to meet the needs of the business. Key requirements
- Cataloguing and maintaining records in the inventory management systems
- Proactively managing stock, by optimising minimum and maximum stock levels across multiple mine sites in various countries
- Analysing historical usage and forecasted projections to report on all slow moving and obsolescence stock
- Experience in managing inventory within the mining industry
- Substantial understanding and working knowledge of ERP software, SAP and Pronto is desirable
- Knowledge of MRP, with the ability to analyse data to establish preferred inventory levels
- Good understanding of catalogue standards and systems
- The ability to identify, evaluate and develop process improvements to inventory management
- Excellent customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate to advanced level of expertise with Microsoft Excel
- High level of organisational skills, with strong attention to detail
