Mechanical Plant Fitter – Flashbutt Welding Facility – Monadelphous – Western Australia

Delivering planned and preventative maintenance, as well as major closedown works, our capability includes the use of a fleet of owned and operated rail maintenance on-track and mobile plant.
The role Mechanical Fitters with Fixed Plant experience will see you working within our growing Rail workforce with our workshop team based in the 8 Mile Operation on a FIFO Family friendly ongoing 8:6 roster and responsible for Flash Butt welding production and Mechanical fitting for the workshop

What you will bring
- Previous experience working as a Mechanical Plant Fitter
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Working at Heights
- Enter and Work in Confined Space
- Basic Fire
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- Rights to work in Australia
- Experience in the rail industry is advantageous but not essential
– High Risk Licences – DG, LF, are highly advantageous
