Mt Webber OHP – OHP Supervisor – NRW Holdings Limited – Western Australia

The Project:

Mount Webber is an Iron Ore mine located 250km South-Southeast of Port Hedland for which NRW manages the mining and ore processing on behalf of Atlas Iron. Our scope includes open pit mining, and drill & blast and crushing and screening.

Working a 2 & 1 roster our Supervisor Fixed Plant will be responsible for all supervision requirements for the Ore Handling Plant whilst safely achieving availability and reliability, throughout along with capability of the fixed plant.

Working in this diverse environment, with a strong Team culture committed to safety, you will be responsible for:

  • Supervising and coordinating of production personnel
  • Assisting with operational, engineering and technical improvement activities or other issues affecting optimum plant compliance
  • Liaising with the electrical and maintenance supervisors to coordinate maintenance activities and shutdowns
  • Organising training for all OHP Personnel as per agreed training matrix

What we are looking for:

  • Demonstrated operational experience in a Supervisory capacity
  • Crusher operation experience
  • Ability to engage and lead a team of personnel in regard to operational disciplines
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures and codes of practice for the repair of mobile plant equipment
  • Ability to foster and maintain a strong safety culture
  • Relevant trade qualification desirable
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence
