About the role
The successful Ancillary Operator will be responsible for operating heavy machinery in an open pit mining environment. Key result areas in this role include:
Ensure safe and efficient movement of ore, waste rock, and use of water truck to minimise dust
Actively participate in initiatives to maximise efficiency and productivity of personnel and equipment.
Maintain a safe working environment at all times
Ensure clear lines of communication with all personnel
Establish and maintain the highest possible standards of housekeeping and cleanliness in individual work areas and on the company’s property generally
About our Operation
Our Mungari gold operation is both open pit and underground, located 20km west of Kalgoorlie and 600km east of Perth in Western Australia. Being a residential mine, our employees go home every night, with many living in the local community of Kalgoorlie.

About you
As an experienced Ancillary Operator you will work as part of the open pit mining team at Mungari Gold Mine. It is important that you have/ can demonstrate:
Experience operating heavy equipment in an open pit mining environment (competent with a minimum of 3 pieces of heavy equipment)
Dedicated to contributing towards quality work outcomes
Ability to work well within a team environment
Commitment to promoting a safe work environment at all times
Demonstrate behaviours aligned with the Evolution Mining values.
