About the role
The Jumbo Operator will contribute towards production targets set within the mining cycle of underground development at Frogs Legs. Key result areas in this role include:
Boring of development excavation profiles to desired profile and in accordance to the mine safety and inspection act and regulations
Installation of ground support in accordance with Ground Control Management Plan
Ensure that work quality is high and that all controls are used and adhered to
About our Operation
Our Mungari gold operation is both open pit and underground, located 20km west of Kalgoorlie and 600km east of Perth in Western Australia. Being a residential mine, our employees go home every night, with many living in the local community of Kalgoorlie.

About you
As an experienced Jumbo Operator you will work as part of the underground mining team at Mungari. It is important that you have/ can demonstrate:
2 years+ experience as a Jumbo Operator with current Jumbo Ticket
Experience with resin or Garford bolts
Read and accurately follow mining instruction to design line, gradient and profile
Dedicated to contributing towards quality work outcomes
Ability to work well within a team environment and communicate clearly, effectively and respectfully with all mining personnel
Supervisor Certificate highly desirable
Commitment to promoting a safe work environment at all times, including strong observation skills with a strong focus on hazard identification
Demonstrate behaviours aligned with the Evolution Mining values.
