We are seeking an experienced Catering Manager to join our team at Eramurra Village on a Fixed Term Contract, working a 14:7 roster.
The Position
Based at Eramurra Village, you will be responsible for the direction and leadership of the onsite Kitchen team including the Chefs, cooks and catering assistants. The site provides services for up to 1500 people so you will need to have good organization skills.
Supported by a team of loyal and committed staff you will be responsible for the operational and financial performance of the sites Kitchen Department and will be working closely with the Head Chef. Your hands-on approach to managing the team will ensure your success.
Key Duties
- Responsibility for the performance of the Kitchen.
- Demonstrate product category knowledge
- Control of the department’s budgets, manage inventory and monitor the ordering of stock
- Maintaining the focus on quality service and innovation
The Person
- A natural leader with a unique approach to catering
- Solid experience as a Catering Manager is a must
- Ability to navigate a team to success through leadership, training and safety compliance.
- You will be a creative professional who will remain pragmatic and focused in an ever changing and challenging environment.
- The ability to foster close and positive working relationships with staff, key clients and customers is essential
