The Details

  • Position Type: Seasonal (April – October 2021)
  • Start Date: April 2021
  • Schedule: Varies – ~40+ hours per week
  • Location: Throughout Yellowstone National Park


What We Provide

  • Simple living in the world’s first National Park with low-cost housing (dormitory style), meals (cafeteria style), and Wi-Fi (limited bandwidth) provided
  • A low-cost bimonthly deduction covers three meals a day, your dorm room, and all associated utilities (including limited Wi-Fi) and the use of in-house laundry facilities.

Responsibilities

Food & Beverage Management

  • Responsible for the oversight of all operations within their designated restaurant to ensure that staffing levels, budget, and guest and employee satisfaction are all meeting or exceeding expectations.

Housekeeping Management

  • Responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department’s daily operations at his or her own location; including duties such as staff scheduling, quality control, budgeting, and more


Front Desk Management

  • Responsible for all aspects of the Front Desk and Bell operations. The goal of the Front Desk Manager is to maximize guest service while simultaneously maximizing corporate profits.


Human Resources Management

  • Oversee the daily management of the domestic and work-related life that our employees live day-to-day. This includes overseeing employee housing staff, housing staff management, ensuring the cleanliness of the housing area, enforcing compliance of company policies and standards, and acting as an employee relations advocate related to the workplace.


Retail Management

  • Responsible for the Gift Shop’s daily operation at their location, such as budget, merchandising, staff scheduling, inventory control, and meeting sales goals.


Operations Management

  • Authority and responsibility to direct all phases of daily operation at the location/property level. While providing this direction, you will fully support, monitor, and control all programs instituted by the individual departments.

Qualifications

  • Previous management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
