Located in the eastern suburbs, our client, one of Perth’s leading NFP providers is in search of an AP/Payroll supervisor to lead a team of four.
The Company
Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable & Payroll team lead to join their team on a 9-month fixed term contract, covering a maternity leave. Working in a high volume, complex invoicing environment with NDIS, no two days will be the same as you manage your time between supporting other members of the team as well as working closely with the Financial Controller. You will relish the opportunity to expand on your NFP and systems knowledge, as well as being able to work in an environment where effort and excellence are rewarded. Our client requires you to have the capacity to work from home and be able to work a hybrid model within WA government guidelines. Start times are flexible with onsite parking provided.
The Role
Overseeing a team of 3 accounts payable officers – receiving and processing incoming invoices and matching to purchase orders
Double checking the coding of invoices appropriately and accurately
Authorization of the invoices
Creating a payment file and processing a weekly payment run
Reconciling incoming Supplier statements
Support team with bank reconciliations and any credit card reconciliations
Overseeing and assisting a Payroll Administrator with the processing of over 300 staff members fortnightly pay (multiple awards) through ADP
Review/reconcile payroll journals
Run/review payroll reports
Investigating payroll queries and facilitating solutions including processing express pays if required
Process of terminations
Consideration of payroll tax and superannuation payments as well as salary sacrifice
Any other ad hoc duties as required from time to time
Your Profile
You will be an energetic and driven finance professional with recent experience within a similar high-volume full function position. You will value the importance of providing superior customer service and be comfortable liaising at a range of clientele. You will enjoy the challenge of high-volume transactions within a diverse and complex industry.
