Reliance Jio to Roll Out 5G Connectivity in India by October, Plans Full Coverage by 2023 End

Reliance Jio announced on Monday that it would roll out 5G connectivity to key cities in the country by October. The country's largest telecom operator said cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata would have access to 5G connectivity by Diwali, while the company plans to extend coverage to every district in the country by the end of 2023. Jio also announced a service called Air Fiber, which allows support for 5G hotspot which will bring wireless broadband connectivity over 5G networks to users' homes, according to the company.
