LG’s Thinnest Laptop, Gram SuperSlim, Now on Sale Starting at $1,699

If you’re looking for a thin and light laptop, the LG Gram SuperSlim goes on sale today, and it lives up to its name, measuring 0.43 inches at its slimmest, or less than an index finger.

LG first debuted the Windows 11 laptop at CES 2023 with a different name, the LG Gram Ultraslim. But it's now known as the Gram Superslim, and at its thinnest point, the product beats Apple's MacBook Air M2, which comes in at 0.44 inches. However, the Gram Superslim becomes a little thicker near the edges, along the ports, for a max height of 0.49 inches.

The other standout feature is its weight. The Gram Superslim is only 2.18 pounds, despite carrying a 15.6-inch screen. As a result, holding the laptop feels like carrying a pad of paper. In contrast, the 13.6-inch MacBook Air M2 weighs 2.7 pounds, giving it little more heft.

Both models feature the same Intel 13th Gen “Raptor Lake” Core i7-1360P chip, along with OLED displays. However, the base model contains only 16GB of  LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. The $1,999 model comes with 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 2TB SSD.

“This LG gram also features a redesigned compact power adapter and multiple ports, including three USB Type-C ports, two of which support Thunderbolt 4 compatibility, and 4 pole headphone jack to boost efficiency and productivity,” the company added.
